Other Details to Note
In the mountains, critters are simply a fact of life. Just a warning for those wary of bugs; even though we have the house professionally cleaned after each guest, and we use humane methods of mitigating pests where possible, we simply can't avoid the occasional critter(s) from breaking in. To be clear: bug/critter sightings inside or outside the home are possible. Do not book if this is a problem for you. NO REFUNDS. Pet Fee: $60 per stay. Allows up to 2 well behaved dogs. Radiant floor heating fee: $22/day. Southern California is inhabited by abundant predatory wildlife including but not limited to: coyotes, bears, snakes, raptors, rodents, arachnids, and scorpions. Although we have had exactly zero incidents with any of the above, you must be very vigilant with your loved ones to keep everyone safe from local wildlife. This property has two beds and one couch. Though we provide all bedding for the beds we do not provide extra sheets for the couch. Extra blankets are out and available for use. Though the house has central A/C the indoor temperature can vary in summer due to the nature of A Frames and vast windows. Power outages are very common in the mountain. We have a backup battery that provides power only to the essentials (everything except the air conditioner, hottub, dryer and car charger). LIABILITY WAIVER - By making your reservation you and the other members in your party as THE GUESTS agree to release THE HOSTS from all liability, including financial responsibility relating to injuries & personal property damage that may occur during your stay. You understand that using the hot tub, hiking and climbing anywhere on the property is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with using the hot tub and hiking and/or climbing. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising while on the property and hold owner harmless. For photo shoots/films and anything else similar, please contact us first for permission.

Neighborhood
Quaint and walkable. Neighbors are there but not too close so you still feel like you have privacy. Lake Arrowbear is a seasonal lake and is only a 12 minute walk away. Multiple local restaurants and ski/bike rental stores are in walking distance. Hiking Trails can be found a 5 minute walk from the front door. Downtown Running Springs is a 5 minute drive away with a small grocery store, local shops, a diner, and a few restaurants.
Guest Access
There is a large parking pad for 2 cars immediately in front of the property with an EV Charger. Only 2 cars can be accommodated (no exceptions). Street parking is prohibited as plows need to clear the streets. Weather Disclaimer - Weather on the mountain can be unpredictable. Tire chains are required to be with you at all times from October-April. Hosts are not available to assist with immobilized vehicles either on or off the premises. Multiple roadways tend to always be icy. If there is inclement weather during your stay, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING YOUR VEHICLE UP/OUT OF ANY WEATHER. No exceptions. Outdoor amenities may be impaired or unusable by snowfall. Parking, walkways, and decks may get covered in snow or iced over and difficult to use. THIS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. We do our best to schedule crews to clear the snow. SNOW CLEARANCE IS NOT GUARANTEED. We provide shovels/salt if the guests would like to mitigate the snow cover. Snow cover is expected and is outside the hosts' control. Please take note of this. NO DISCOUNTS. NO REFUNDS.
